No lockouts this weekend

Mr Brumby’s 2am lockout trial is over - thank goodness. There is no 2am curfew this weekend, except for about three places that have been encouraged to implement their own.

The lockout failed terribly. The Brumby Government bungled it from start to finish. In the end all it did was make people believe that Melbourne is dangerous when its one of safest cities in the world.

Anyone who has watched this process realises that this Government couldn’t complete a kids jigsaw puzzle successfully.

Mr Brumby is too pig-headed to concede that he got it wrong. They are going to review the failure of the lockout over the next few weeks and decide what to do next. Stay tuned.

Max Moose in its 10th year

For the rest of 2008, we’re celebrating our tenth year online. There’ll be a big party in November. Our research suggests Max Moose is probably the longest running club info website on Earth!

Did you know? Max Moose was the first club website in the world to do club photos. We had to scan photos - no digital cameras back then.

Places that are running hot

Loft Saturday is smashing all records. Its full every week from 11pm. Great night. (guestlist)

The Drink Fridays have been back to their best following their huge snow party & 2nd birthday.

If you like RnB, DysFunktional at The Loft Fridays is definitely worth a look.

MyClub Fridays at BCM Docklands are good & unique. Vote on their website to shape the night.

What’s your favourite spot?

Max Moose thrives on your comments. They let others know where its good. Please take a moment to put a comment on our gossip page to let people know where you think its good & why.
