Found the best new cafe bar & restuarant, just opened inside the hawthorn FC
stadium @ Waverley Park, Great Cakes, Great Cocktails, Nice Food, DJ Fridays and
the best shows and sports on the big screens - definitely worth a check out.

Went down to the Stone Grill at The Quay in Victoria Harbour Docklands. It was a
bit of fun and a great steak.
About half the menu is stone grill. Your order comes to you slightly heated on a
hot stone and then you heat it yourself the rest of the way, as you choose.
The steak is sensational.
The chicken, pork and prawns were great too. Desserts weren't half bad either.
The view is good, looking over Victoria Harbour and Telstra Dome, and the
restaurant looks reasonably classy.
The Quay is a bar and a restaurant. The bar is better know for throwing parties
with footballers and celebrities. They also have a poker competition there every
Tuesday.
Anyway, go and have a look and a taste. Its a great spot for a bite or a drink.

Definitely with you on Moods, apparently they've got a new menu now but i
haven't been for a little while, big fan of the bbq chicken pizza they make
there. after clubbing it's always the greasy cheap stuff, KFC or macca's all
the way...

FELIX Bar in St Kilda is definately a place where you can get good, friendly
service. Great food! They also stay open late if you're up for kickin on
afterwards. Relaxed and laid back. Recommend this one for sure! Cheers

Went to a relatively new restaurant in Berwick tonight called Moods. Its on
Wheeler St at the top of High St. Pretty good place for our readers. Good value
meals, reasonable menu, $9 & $10 cocktails, friendly staff. Nice range of cakes,
but you won't have room after the massive mains. Worth a look.

I like Mocha Joes in Glen Waverley, the risotto there is awesome! Georges in
Camberwell is a classy place and has great food but they are a bit more $$$. The
wedges with sweet chili sauce at Balsamic in Eastland are fantastic. Other
places I like are Automatic at Crown and Cafe Greco with their awesome cakes.
For cheap food and big servings you can't beat Sofias. My favourite area to eat
out is Acland st St Kilda because of the variety and great atmosphere. Best
gelati is the Ferrero rocher @ 7 apples in St Kilda. For thickshakes try Cafe
Sienna on Chapel. They are the best in Melbourne, trust me!

The service at Chapellis is awful. They've managed to get my order wrong almost
everytime I've been there. The staff can be obnoxious.

Some good restaurants for 18-25s in Melbourne include: TGI Fridays, Hard Rock
Cafe, Howl at the Moon, Shine or Airstream in Glen Waverley, or Switch (@ Knox
Ozone).
If you're out to eat late, like after clubbing, try the 24 hour pancake parlour
at Doncaster or Chapellis on Chapel St.
Please add any other good ones that you know of.

We'd love to know what restaurants you recommend for 18-
25s. We want to know where's respectable and affordable, where its fun, or
what's open late at night.
