Sadly, Bobby’s is making way for a brand new venture :-( Please note: The latest news will continually be updated at www.bobby-mcgees.com.au. The End of a Monumental Era It’s sad to say but an icon has come to the end of its era. After 13 fantastic and unforgettable years and hundreds of thousands of people through the doors, Bobby McGee’s Melbourne is about to close up shop. It’s time to turn out the lights and let the fat lady sing. Why & When is Bobby’s closing? As the saying goes, “All good things must come to end” and that’s simply the case with Bobby’s. We will be closing the doors for the last time on Thursday 10th July but before we do, we will say goodbye the best way Bobby’s knows how! How is Bobby’s closing? In true Bobby’s style, we are planning 3 HUGE WEEKS of memorable and fantastic celebrations. We will be holding a Grand Finale for each night including one last Massive M*A*S*H Bash, a final Huge HIP Party, a Big BUST Gig and a 4th of July Grand Finale extravaganza. Terms & Conditions Now that the final pages in Bobby McGee’s book are being written we must bring an end to things such as membership applications and membership renewals, which will no longer be accepted. Moreover in the final three weeks, door lists will not be available so arrive early to avoid the long queues. What is happening to Bobby’s? When we close the doors for the last time, the venue will undergo a refurbishment and will re-open in September as an Events Venue in which we will cater for any and all types of private functions (ie. dinner and dance cabaret shows, product launches, social parties, christmas parties, etc). We’d like to thank you all for the good times and memories that we’ve shared together over the past 13 years and hope that you will be a part of the send off that Bobby’s deserves.
