It's been a while, but there is heaps to talk about...
Wheeler's Reopens
The newly renovated Wheeler's Hill Hotel reopened it doors last Monday, but this weekend is the first run for its regular nights, AND the launch of a much needed SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Apparently the venue looks fantastic, and they have retained the infamous beer garden. They've done well on the band front too, with CAPTAIN SPLADING on a Thursday, 80s ENUFF on a Friday, and MAX's favourite band, ADAM 12 on Sunday afternoons.
We will be there tonight (Thursday) to take some photos, and I personally look forward to the Sundays. It is about time someone put something decent on a Sunday afternoon. Let's help them make it work. See ya there!
Video and Photos Pages
After months of requests, we have conceded you're right, and added a photos page, complete with video. We have pics and video of all the nights at The Hallam, Bobby McGee's, and Wild Bills, as well as the openings of Z.O.S., East 93, and Bourbon St, and pics of some nights at Casey's and Detour @ Club Evolution. There are plenty more to come.

We have just added some tourist guides of some other Australian and US cities. If you are heading away, take a look, and find out where the Party's at! In a nutshell, nobody comes close to Melbourne, but Perth and Hobart have some potential.

Major News
We are coming into holidays, so things are really hotting up again. The big midweek nights, Bobby's Monday, Evolution, Casey's and Berwick Inn Tuesdays, Wednesday at Bills (and Bobby's on the last Wednesday of the month), and Thursdays at The View and Hallam are getting back to their best. There are a few pretty good Fridays around town, but Saturdays are a bit disappointing, with the exception of Metro which is back on top.
We recently saw the departure of Chevron from the Melbourne scene. The venue is to be redeveloped as apartments. However, since the last Email-out, we have seen East 93 (ex Jooce) and Z.O.S. (ex Chasers) make comebacks.

Catching up
MAX MOOSE is desperately trying to get back up to date, since we lost weeks going to the States, and election campaigns tend to distract us. We have just brought in some new staff to help in that effort, and we are getting there. Please bare with us.
