Plus the Boost Juice crew are in the house with their party! BOOST JUICE - come
on peeps what could be juicier (lol at juice pun) than some of those fine
looking ladies (Chloe i am talking to you - thx for the free juice) and
gentlemen from Boost Juice shaking their thing on the dance floor (heh should be
hilarious - must see i reckon)
Cheap drinks too, $3.50 spirits and $5.00 shots!
See you guys and girls there,
Scott

You cant say Return of the Dragon is far superior to Bass Station... its
comparing apples and oranges...
Tony, South Yarra, Fri Jul 25 19:25:24 2003
Billy, yeah i spose technically it does, but it is not the same as Bass Station
at when it was held at ZOS. Now that ZOS is back to being Chasers on a Friday
night it is far superior to Bass Station anyway, with a far wider assortment of
people and music.
Scott Markworth, Melbourne, Thu Jul 24 18:49:11 2003
ZOS is no more! No more headbanging, no more talcum powder, no more reflective
magnetic cloaks! Friday nights - no longer Bass Station - It Dosen't Exist!

Hey all,
"Enter the Dragon" opened last week at Chasers (ZOS) with a 1500+ crowd, and it
looks like things are even more promising this week!
ETD was universally known as Chaser's signature night, and was thought to be
lost with Chasers. However those who thought that the awesome croud and
atmosphere were lost were wrong, as Chasers is back better than ever with Enter
the Dragon Friday nights at Chasers/ZOS!
General Admission is $15 (A fair price for 3 huge rooms of House, Funk and RnB,
and what will be the biggest and best dressed crowd in Melbourne), but if you
want to avoid the line and get cheaper entry to this huge night, join the
guestlist line and say you are on SCOTT MARKWORTH'S Guest List for Priority
Entry and only a $10 Cover!)
From the first week, it appears ETD will be the biggest and best Friday night in
town, and is only going to get bigger. Dress up, as a strict door policy is in
play, and the night (Chaser's signature) is all about style.
Regards, and happy partying,
Scott Markworth
If anyone has any questions about recieving discounted entry passes or about
guestlist for Enter The Dragon - please email me on scott8@optushome.com.au or
phone me on 0402697173.
Scott Markworth, Melbourne, Tue Jul 8 22:30:25 2003
Bass Station has made way for the return of "Enter the Dragon". ETD was
generally regarded as Chaser's signature night. It was outstanding. Hard house
all around, with a touch of RnB, and the new version seems to incorporate a
Dilirium (retro) theme in the back room.
ETD was an awesome night in its previous incarnation, and if the same (unique)
people return, it will be great again.

Bass Station DJ Frenzy - Final
This Friday 2nd May 2003
Jules vs Tristan Mason 2-3
Tonka vs Master Kaos 3-4
Andre Klein vs Jason Midro 4-5
Both Jules and Tonka lean towards hard trance with Tonka on a slightly more
uplifting tip and Jules a little more groove orientated. Andre Klein on the
other hand seems to play almost exclusively hard dance, which should make the
competition particularly interesting.
Bass Station, South Yarra / Prahran, Thu May 1 17:59:17 2003

This night has now moved to Z.O.S. (22.8.02). This review was written when it was run at CBD.
January 21, 2000
CBD is located within a small alley next to the G.P.O., a perfect getaway for weekend ravers alike. The crowds vary from the hardest followers to those who are more in the experimental stage and want something more intense than your average dance club. The crowd attitude can be easily described as being very friendly; in true united spirit. Personal space is very much respected and you need not worry about making an impression to keep your share of the fantastic rave pit.

Dressing is very casual, with the legacy uniform of bright coloured baggy shorts, loose shirts, skate shoes, and maybe a pair of yellow sunnies being common. On occasions there will be people dressed in leg furs, gas masks, or even FBI uniform! Be sure to dress comfy as you will regret it being stuck in jeans and leather shoes. Ages ranged mostly in the 18-25s zone. My first visit was at around 11pm, and the place was about 2/3 capacity but only a dozen or so people in action on each floor. The party really peaks at around 1-2am though, and continues past 5am.

There are three floors which make up CBD, joined by a staircase on the side with a small bar on each floor and a chillout room on second floor with a big projector screen. There are often action movies or Japanese Manga films shown here, along with lots of seats and a pool table. About 10 double seated tables on each floor provide rest for those who have been going all night but still want to enjoy the action. Level 1 is Hard House/Trance, followed by Psy Trance and finally Acid Techno/Tek House. Each floor is a reasonable size, however people will dance wherever there is free space! Lighting effects are excellent and a great mix of artwork and props decorate the rooms and staircase.

Drink prices are quite reasonable. Alcohol looked well priced, however I stay with water which is $3/600ml. Entry is $8 except for import DJ events when it is often $15. I enjoy the music, crowds and overall warehouse-type environment, which is what takes me there every week.
