Drink opens with a massive splash!
Drink made a sensational start! We were there Wednesday and Friday and are
reliably told Saturday was every bit as big. Wednesday, a good
looking student crowd saw 23 Past, DJ Sam Dredd and BB06’s Gaelan. Friday,
people from all over Melbourne flocked in for a look at Adam12 and DJ
Scotty E. The Wednesday pics are up and Fridays will be soon.
Bert and Molly at Twister this Saturday.
We’re excited by this. Twister has been at its best in recent weeks and
when its that good, its as good as any venue in the world we’ve been to.
This week will be crazy with Bert Newton and Molly Meldrum appearing.
Definitely check it out.
Opening takes Palace Camberwell to new level.
Level One, the nightclub upstairs in the Palace Hotel in Camberwell opened
its doors on Saturday. I’m told the opening was a spectacular success.
It should have been; its a great setup. Over coming weeks they have
some creative promotions including AFL players bar tending.
Pulse brings life to the South East in early August.
Those looking for something different in the South East will be satisfied
in early August. Pulse will open its doors. Its a fantastically well put
together venue and will generate a great atmosphere. Details are coming.
30,000 visit Max Moose in a day (1m+ hits).
What a day June 21st was. Max Moose redefined all its records with over
30,000 visitors coming into the site on the one day! That was over 1
million hits in one day! We’re averaging about 6,000 readers a day at the
moment. Thanks for all your support.

PartyHelp offer crashes their website.
Last Thursday we sent an Email for PartyHelp. If you’re holding a party
they’ll find you a great venue. The Email saw their website flooded with
so many visitors that it crashed. It back now, so check it out.
Having a royal blast HiP Mondays.
With the World Cup finishing, HiP Mondays have been back to their best.
The Royal Superbox promotion is great, with people entering a draw to have
a personal party on stage. With 2-for-1 until 11pm, and MC Dean’s birthday
party tonight, you can’t go wrong. Pics & guest list.
Retro Dance Music: Room Tuesday.
Room’s Tuesday is a good night and concept. They call it RDM (Retro Dance
Music). Phil G, Jono Earle and friends play dance music from the past few
years. Its not cheesy ‘70s retro, its stuff from 2005, 2004 to 1998 and
beyond. Its great because you know every song and they’re all classics.
Good looking crowd too. Details.
Little Black Dress Saturdays at Odeon.
The heats of Who Looks Best in their Little Black Dress have come to a
close, and Odeon’s final takes place this coming Saturday. Its been a
great competition, so the final should be good.
Metro is back.
The magnificent Metro apparently reopened its doors a fortnight ago. It
was hardly publicised but apparently 900 happy punters were there. If you
were there, let us know what you thought.
QBH returning later in ‘06.
We’re told the QBH refit is going nicely, and will be ready in the next
few months - before the end of 2006. Future, the crew running the 21st
and most of the big rave events, will be running it.

We know you love a good party. Something you must experience is a Melb.

They are perfect for: birthday parties, work parties, group fundraisers,
hens nights or just if you have friends looking to party.
After years of going on them (and loving it), we’ve hooked up with the
best in the business (ie most entertaining and best venues) to bring the
fun your way.
Just check into MAX MOOSE, and we’ll put a great night together for you.
We will even organise a “Happy Hour” of cheap drinks if you have 30 or
more on the night.
Its truly great fun (even for those not big on clubs) and you’ll be
telling the stories forever.
Give it a go; you won’t regret it.
